Body Acne Products

bodyacneproductsBody acne products frustrate me. In fact any acne products, lotions and potions specifically, irritate me to a large degree because of the many bad experiences I have had with them. I have spent a lot of money trying to find something to help my adult acne. My face and my arms were a huge issue to me so I spent considerable time trying to find something that would work.

So after trying out in-store products, I began falling for the expensive products you find online. The ones that contain Benzoyl peroxide. What happened to my face as a result of these? Well it went red, sore and was very very swollen. I figured, after spending an embarrassing few days at work, that this was a blessing in disguise. It was what led me to find a REAL solution to my adult acne. Afterall, to keep clear skin with something that is so harsh on your delicate skin, you would have to continue to do it indefinitely. Products like this, IF they work, do more harm than good and only treat the symptom.

So anyway, what I would like to give you instead of a review of the supposively “best body acne products around” is a run down of what you should do to look after your skin. Instead of splashing harsh chemicals on your face, the best approach is to use as little as possible. The less gunk I have put on my face, the better. Of course adult acne skin care isn’t the only thing that you need to do to overcome acne, but you can give your skin the best treatment without buying harsh chemicals.

So what does my skin care routine involve?

Well first, I use water to wash my face. I usually use filtered water to get any impurities out. If you are uncomfortable just using water, find a very mild cleanser, preferably organic, and this will be sufficient.

After this, instead of using a traditional moisturizer which ADDS to the problem of adult acne (see more info here: ) I use oil. Currently I have been using some organic coconut oil I purchased off eBay and it is doing wonders for my skin. Oil protects your skin from dehydration and flaking. You only need a tiny tiny amount as well which is great.

Keeping your skin care routine as simple as possible is key to being good to your skin and making sure your skin stays gorgeous. But of course this isn’t the only aspect to body acne or any type of acne. There are many other factors too.
